If a problem occurs due to a fault with a part supplied by us or due to a mistake in our workmanship, we will repair or replace the faulty part at no additional charge within the warranty period.
- Warranty Activation:
The warranty begins on the date of service completion, as stated on the invoice provided at the time of service.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you experience any issues with the work performed or parts supplied under warranty, simply contact us at 0447 188 140. Our team will arrange an appointment to inspect and address the issue as soon as possible.
Please note that Justfix Automotive must be given the first opportunity to remedy any faults. If you do not allow us to assess or repair the issue, the warranty will be void. We recommend contacting us immediately if any concerns arise after a service to ensure a timely and efficient resolution.
Warranty Exclusions
Our warranty covers only work performed and parts supplied by Justfix Automotive. The following exclusions apply:
- Customer-Supplied Parts:
No warranty is provided on parts supplied by the customer, including any labor associated with the installation or use of these parts. It is important that customers choose reputable suppliers for parts they wish to provide for their vehicles.
- Second-Hand or Used Parts:
No warranty is provided if second-hand or used parts are installed in the vehicle. In cases where new replacement parts are unavailable, Justfix Automotive will consult with the customer before proceeding. The customer must provide prior approval for the use of second-hand parts, and once this is agreed upon, no warranty will be offered on those parts.
- Damage Caused by External Factors:
Damage caused by accidents, misuse, natural disasters, or external events is not covered by this warranty. For example, if an alternator fails due to an electrical surge from another part of the vehicle or external power source, the warranty will not apply.
- Regular Wear and Tear:
Justfix Automotive warranty does not cover the normal wear and tear of parts, such as brake pads, clutch discs, tires, belts, or hoses that naturally degrade over time due to their usage in your vehicle.
- Negligence or Improper Use:
Any damage caused by negligence, improper vehicle maintenance, or improper use of the vehicle (e.g., failing to adhere to the recommended maintenance schedule or using the vehicle for purposes not intended by the manufacturer) is excluded from the warranty.
- Failure to Provide Access for Repairs:
If the customer does not provide Justfix Automotive with access to perform necessary repairs, the warranty will be void. We must be allowed the opportunity to inspect and remedy any issues during the warranty period to remain covered under the terms of the warranty.
- Labor Performed by Other Service Providers:
If work is performed by another mechanic or service provider (including unauthorized repairs or modifications), it will void the warranty on the affected parts.
Additional Warranty Terms
- Transferability:
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. If the vehicle is sold or transferred to another party during the warranty period, the warranty will no longer be valid.
- Duration of Warranty:
The warranty period of 12 months or 20,000 km will start from the date of service completion, whichever comes first. If a claim is made after this period, the warranty will no longer apply.
- Warranty Claims Process:
Warranty claims will be evaluated based on the nature of the fault and our internal assessment. Justfix Automotive reserves the right to inspect the issue, and based on the inspection, we will either repair or replace the faulty part(s). In the event of a dispute, the decision of Justfix Automotive will be final.
- Invoice and Documentation:
The warranty is only valid if the customer provides a copy of the original invoice issued at the time of service. The invoice must clearly list the parts installed, work performed, and the associated costs. Be sure to keep a copy of your invoice for future reference.
Customer Responsibility
While our warranty covers defects in parts and labor, customers have a responsibility to:
- Maintain the Vehicle: Regular maintenance and care are essential for the longevity of your vehicle’s parts, including those covered by the warranty.
- Provide Immediate Notification: If any issues arise within the warranty period, customers must contact Justfix Automotive immediately and allow us to assess the situation.
- Adhere to Manufacturer’s Recommendations: Follow the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule for the vehicle, which includes checking and replacing parts that experience regular wear and tear.
